Most of you are followers of our lives on Facebook, but for those of you who find out what is going on in our lives via Blog, to you I say "Sorry!" I did not drop off the face of the earth, just off of the blog for a bit.
A quick update: Peter came home the day before Thanksgiving. It was a nice surprise and a wonderful homecoming. Since then, it has been a time of joy, getting readjusted, and some surprises. But in the end, we are happy to be together once again.
I dare not promise that I will be updating all the time in fear that I won't keep that promise. But I will try my best to post some more pictures, stories, and videos when I can.:)

To the love of my life...
I am full of flaws. Constantly erring. My "skills" as a wife and mother are very minimal. But despite all these things, despite the fact that our last time of webcamming I was a mess and snappy.... Peter still loves me. Why? I can't say that he is super human. He will admit that. All I can say is that he made a commitment to me... and I to him.
When we said "I do" it was I do still love you despite your times of irrationality. When you are angry. When you disappoint me. When you have morning breath. When you lash out because you haven't had sugar in a week (ahem... that was me!).
I am incredibly grateful for this man I call husband, best friend, roomy, father to my girls, hero. No other time will our marriage be tested the way a deployment tests us. By God's grace, we make it through. And we even may come out stronger then before.
Here is a shot for you Peter. I don't post many of me. I love you. Keep going. We are so proud of you.

Spa Day
It was time. The girls had been begging me for some color. What can I say? They are girls! Can I just say, it is very hard to get 3 little girls to sit still for a picture!
Clara got her nails done too!

They all chose pink for their fingers.

Tootsies!

Molly asked if we could webcam with Daddy so he could see her pretty nails. I told her no... but we would post it on here so he could see it. Enjoy Daddy!
