Well, hopefully this is the beginning of me getting this blog started. Since Peter should be leaving soon, I really need to learn to navigate my way around. :)
Mother's Day was nice. We had a great lunch with Mike and Sandra. (It was extra nice that they treated. Thanks guys!) Olive Garden did a great job at getting us our meals quickly considering everyone in Brandon was there that day. Haha.
After, when we got home, Samantha must have known that it was Mother's Day, because she took a nice long nap, and played by herself so nicely the rest of the afternoon. What a blessing.
To top the day off, Peter and Sam bought me the best gift a mother could ask for... time. Well, actually it was RAM and an exterior hard drive. But that = times. Honestly, I fell like we have a new computer!
I always felt that Mother's Day was a day to honor both Mother's and wives. And I just feel the need, even though I am a day late, to do so. Thank you ladies who work hard to take care of your husbands. Whether the Lord has blessed you with children or not, you have the most important job. Taking care of the home.
On a more personal note, I feel so blessed to have Peter and Samantha for family. Sam really lights up both of our lives and just brings me so much joy.
Here is a pic from today. She is just so cute .... Come on! I can brag.

Welcome to blogging! We are enjoying getting to know you guys and look forward to meeting your newest family member in the fall.
Yes, Samantha is a cutie!
Yay! I'm so glad you are finally in this world. :) Now I can keep up with you since I hardly ever see you and like never talk to you. :)
You rule.
I would like to add that we were only able to treat at Olive Garden because Mike complained after our last visit about several things that happened unprofessionally and they sent us a free gift card.
I don't want anyone thinking we are rich and can start treating the world. :)
