I both had a dilemma. Since we are in a flood zone here on base, we figured evacuation was inevitable. So our dear, sweet, wonderful, AWESOME friends, Mike and Sandra, had us over for a sleepover Monday night. We figured it would be best to miss the traffic on Tuesday if we left Monday night. Needless to say, not even a drop of rain fell here! However, Peter's mind was put at ease that if anything did happen, his daughter, cats and preggos wife would be safe and sound.
We had a ball at their place. Their 4 dogs kept Samantha well entertained , as you will see below. She loved them so much. As for the cats, they just stayed locked in the room all day. Haha. We didn't want to risk the dogs getting hurt by my dangerous cats. ;)
I came home last night, since nothing seems to be going on weather wise and the cats are very glad to be in their domain. However, Samantha really misses the dogs and I miss the Mario Kart game... and Sandra. ;) Thanks to Mike and Sandra for opening up their home to us. We are so thankful and blessed to have such wonderful friends. We love you guys and know that our home is open to you all if there is anything you need. (Or if Sandra needs a Game Cube fix.)
