Our trip to the zoo

We had a blast at the zoo yesterday. It's great having a membership, b/c you don't feel like you are wasting money if you only go for 2 hours, (which is all I can take in the Florida heat.) We found a great new way to be entertained. I found this food dispenser that was meant for the fish below, but the Ibis' decided they wanted in. So Peter and Samantha fed about 8 birds for about 20 minutes or so. They were both thrilled.

The Panther you see below, wanted to eat Samantha so bad. She wouldn't take her eyes off of her. And seriously was trying to get out of her cage. Samantha wanted to kiss her, but we assured her that would not be wise.

The Eagles I added in b/c I think they are just so beautiful and majestic. It's a shame they are chained up in the zoo. Just seems like they should be soaring in the sky.

This video just shows how fearless Samantha is. She was sticking her hands right in the tank. She even got to feed the Rays. Which really meant she chucked fish at their heads. :)
