To the park we go!

We went to the park last night to get some energy out of Samantha before bed. There are always neat things to see there. Peter caught a lizard. Of course Samantha had to touch it. But we stopped her from kissing him. (This is her latest thing to do, kiss everything.)

The squirrels were a little too friendly for my taste. This one would have eaten out of Samantha's hand if we let it. It really made me nervous. Peter tried to get it on his arm and I told him no way! I was in no mood to go to the ER for an animal bite.

I found this beetle walking around. He was pretty big. I have never seen one like this in real life.

Here's our big girl on the swing. She actually was learning how to pump. Yes, she did fall off backwards. But the swing was so low to the ground she was ok.
