Missing Daddy.
Samantha is just so precious. I love both my girls. And it breaks my heart seeing her having a rough time without daddy around. We both knew that she would remember him and know Daddy was when he gets home, but we didn't expect how much she would miss him. I find her staring at his picture all the time. Without me saying a word, out of no where she tells me that she misses daddy. I know she must be thinking about him. I also know that this breaks Peter's heart. I thought that the separation between Peter and I would be the toughest, but I am not so sure anymore.

very cute picture of her - I'm sorry that it has been so rough. I cannot imagine what our military families go through and it makes me appreciate so much the sacrifice not only of the soldiers, but really of their whole families. I'm praying for you guys. It is nice that you've had some family around for distraction, but when they are all gone, remember that you have friends who will try to help the slower days not be so lonely.
It is good that Samantha misses her Daddy and that he knows it too. I think it would be harder for him if she didn't ever bring him up.
