100 Days

Ever wonder what a hundred days looked like? Well here you go.

Since the day Peter left, I started a chain link. Every link represents a day and I write on it something special that happened that day. That way, when he comes home he can read it and not feel like he missed out on as much.
I can not believe 100 days have come and gone. There are days where the time drags, but it really feels like he just left. I remember watching the truck drive away with him in it and I was thinking, "I won't see him for 4 months!" Of course I bawled. But it has gotten easier. We just do our routine everyday, keep busy and before you know it, another day has flown by.
We couldn't be more proud of our man. Peter does a great job at what he does and I think the United States is truly blessed to have men and woman like Peter protecting it. Love you honey!

You have the BEST ideas! Do you know how many more days until he get to read all those links?

You are doing great! What a treasure this chain will be as you look back. You attitude and strength is an inspiration to many. I know it's hard to imagine but Peter will be back soon and then life's pace will speed up, at least it did for us. Take care! Heather
