Good bye Uncle Peter

Tomorrow is the service for Uncle Peter. He passed away on Sunday and will be greatly missed. I only wish I could be in NY with family to support and share in this time, but it's just not possible. So a few things to say. Uncle Peter always was the quiet uncle. Although that is not saying much in an Italian family. The quiet one is the loud one in the average family.

His commitment to family is what stuck out most. When Grandpa was dying, Uncle Peter was there everyday. Not even saying much, just sitting with him, making a comment here and there.

Uncle Peter had a wonderful artistic side. He made beautiful doll houses which people would buy for much money. But he did it b/c he enjoyed the attention to detail. And his cross stitching was another outlet that made many happy.

My heart goes out to Aunt Nancy, Jerry and Lynn. We will miss a great man.
