Well, my camera has been left at a friends house and since she lives about 35 minutes away, I haven't been able to get it yet. But I figure words can update you just as well as pictures can... just not as cute.
First things first, the news of the last 24 hours is that my dear husband informed me that he might be coming home later than we thought. Now, when January 1st hit, we were both super excited about the fact we could say he was coming home next month. His orders were for 120 days and even though I knew this wouldn't be exact I was assuming in my head he would be home beginning of Feb, since he left beginning of October. Now, the deployment has turned to about 5 months. Two things. One, I would be lying if I said I was not dissappointed. Even though other guys get extended months at a time, a few weeks is a few weeks. But secondly, once I took a breath and thought about it, this is an opportunity. I have the chance to bask in the good things about him being gone a little longer. A chance to be positive. So here are the list of things that I am going to enjoy a little longer:
1. A big bed to myself. ( Although, I still sleep on my side.;)
2. Only cooking 3 times a week and then enjoying leftovers for days.
3. Exclusive time to bond with the girls and completly focus on them. Once Peter comes home, I will have someone else's needs to attend to. Right now, I can take care of them exclusivly.
4. How do I put this tastefully... Less grooming needed right now. Who cares if I didn't shave today? Not me.
5. Less laundry
6. The anticipation of him coming home is kind of fun and exciting. And just keeping things fresh with him through email and talking can be a challenge, but in a good way. Trying to come up with a new way to make him smile thousands of miles away, can be fun.
7.More time to lose a couple more pounds... although, DO NOT ask me how THAT is going.
8.More links on our chain can make it look pretty!
So there you go. Some good things about the delay. Now I was gonna post on other things. But my love just popped online and I am gonna chat with him for a few minutes. I will write more later.

Jules,
Great job at creating the positives list!!! They are aall facts that you can remaind yourself of over and over because they are all true. You can do this, and you have been doing it for onger than you have to do it , so be strong. Love,
