About a month ago now, I lost my Bible. I have had this Bible since my high school graduation, so about 7 1/2 years now. So of course it was well used. I knew where everything was. It fell open easily and all my favorite verses were marked. I feel like I lost my best friend. I have felt lost without it. But I knew it was time to give in and buy a new one since I can't use Peter's Bible forever. (he brought his pocket Bible with him since space was limited.)
I have been looking online, and in stores for a couple weeks now, but didn't want to admit that my Bible was not coming back. Today I took the plunge and got a new one. I got a Thomas chain reference, which are nice. I am fairly familiar with them. But I would be lying if I said I was completely happy with it. I miss my old Bible. But I am going to give this one a try.

You'll love it in time. I totally agree with you that it is hard to switch when you are used to where everything is.
