Sweet stillness
All I can hear right now... besides my typing... is the washer running. Sigh... it's so nice. Peter's mom, dad, and brother arrived last night and are here for the week. They all went on a walk, and I asked to stay home to just enjoy the quiet. It's so wonderful. I think I can't even hear my own thoughts some days, let alone what the Lord has for me. It's good to get refocused and quiet. Just listen. Just thought I would share the blessing. :)

Oh, I love that feeling too...what a blessign to have those moments. My daughter is screaming right now...I am trying to be thankful though for those little quiet moments that she gives me!!! Thanks for sharing!
Funny...I'm reading this as each of my children are taking required naps today - just so I can have some quiet!:) I think we moms need that at times. Glad you're enjoying your time.
so are you hearing funny songs like the chicken dance in your head even when you don't want it to. I do. Mom
