There's no point in arguing...

... I have the best husband. That's right. I know it. And now I am proclaiming it. I do not brag, unless there is a need for it. And there is need for it. Peter has always been great, but ever since his return from the deployment, he has really stepped it up as a daddy and husband.

We have had VBS all week at church. Now, we are doing something a little different this year by having VBS in the evening... 6-9. I am working nursery and had the plan of going all week. Peter, being great, planned on keeping Molly since the nights would be long. Well, Samantha has had croup this week, which means no VBS for her. So who has come home from a long day at work, fed, bathed and played with his girls all week? Peter. He is wonderful. Never complains. He loves taking care of the girls. And even though it has been extra challenging with a sick little one, I have not heard one word of complaint from him.

On top of all that greatness, he has been doing laundry, dishes, and cleaning. Yes, I know. I am one of the "lucky" ones. He knows that I have a lot on my plate right now and that I get cranky if things are not in order at the house. So he has blessed me many a time lately with things looking sparkly!

I also want to add that besides supporting me financially, and with the girls and house, Peter is a wonderful emotional support. He is very patient with me and my many emotions. There are oh so many... He is always there to give me a hug. Tell me not to answer the phone if I am looking stressed, and knows to shut me up with a kiss... that is if I need shutting up!

So all in all, as I said, I have the best husband. God knew EXACTLY who I needed, and supplied him to the T. God is good. And so is Peter. Love you, Peter. You are my #1!
