Well, we are home. And as I speak, I am loading 258 pictures on my computer. That is just off one camera. We have 2 cameras, and we have a disc with pictures on it and also a thumb drive with even more pictures on it. You can guess we had a good time. Over the next week, I will try to blog here and there about our highlighted moments. Today, this is it. I have a pile of laundry... a carpet needing to be vacuumed... and groceries that need to be bought.
I do want to add that we are glad to be home, but it is always so bitter sweet. I think with little ones it gets harder and harder to be away from family. Especially cousins. But the Lord has us where we are and He knows my desires. We will find out in a couple of weeks if we were chosen for overseas tours that we put in for. Honestly, I don't want them. But we prayed and said that God would deal with it all the way he wants it to happen. Soooooo... until we find out, I will have to keep my head busy. That shouldn't be too hard.

Lots of pictures is defiantely proof of a good vacation! I know about how hard it is to be in God's will but away from family. Bittersweet is the right word. I'll be praying about those orders!!!

So glad to hear that you made it home safely. I am sure that you will have tons of stuff to do to keep you busy for a while...if you run out of things to do, I am sure the girlies will help you out in that department!
why did you guys put in for overseas tour again? I mean, I know you loved it, but is Peter due to move again already?
I know that "coming home" feeling all too well. At some point, if we are there long enough, I'm usually demanding and crying that we move back. Then I get ahold of myself and realize that I want what is best for our family and the Lord's will for us right now. I know you will be able to settle back down into a routine and then it'll be a little easier. Praying for you!
