The other morning I went to get the girls out of their beds. It was still dark out, but they were ready to go. I switched on the light. I always giggle when I do this, because they both have the same reaction. They bury their heads in to the bed because the light hurts their eyes. Once they were both adjusted, Samantha hopped out of bed and came over to me. The following conversation has kept us laughing for days!
Sam: "Mommy, don't poke my eyes. It's not nice."
Me: "Samantha, I didn't poke your eyes. What are you talking about?" (I thought maybe she had a dream...)
Sam: "When you turn on the lights, it pokes my eyes. That's not nice."
Me: After I contain myself, "Sorry Samantha."
