So the USO has this great program for servicemembers that are deployed. They can read a book to their kids via video recording. So, Peter being the great dad that he is signed up and yesterday we finally go the video in the mail. The girls didn't know what was going to come on when I put the video in. Their jaws dropped when they saw Peter on the TV. They tried to talk to him, but obviosuly he didn't answer.
Each girl's reaction was different. Samantha opened the book that came with the video right away and waited for the dings that daddy gave in order to turn the page. Molly just stared at Peter and kept saying "Hi Daddy." Clara's reaction was my favorite. She crawled up to the TV table, banged her hands as hard as she could on the table and said, "Da Da. Da Da." Her smile said it all.
Thank you Peter for making everyone's day. We look forward to our next one. :)
