The weekend

Well we were very thankful to have our good friends Mike and Sandra and Scott and Leah over for dinner and games on Saturday. It was nice getting to know the Jacksons a little better, since we don't get to chat too much at church. Unfortunately, Peter worked the entire time. So we will have to do it again when he is around. Samantha was very attached to Mike. I took a picture of the two of them reading together. Very sweet.

Samantha woke up sick on Saturday morning and continued throughout the rest of the weekend. She looked quite pathetic by the end of the evening when everyone was over. But I think she is doing better. Of course, I had to take a picture.

One more picture. This one shows what a great big sis she will be. We have been trying to prepare her as much as a 16 month old can be prepared. So her new thing is to feed her baby, put her to sleep, even cover her with a blanket. Here she is being a good little mommy.
