Birthday happenings

We celebrated Samantha's birthday tonight since Sundays are always so hectic. I allowed her to pick what she wanted for dinner. So chicken nuggets and garlic toast it was. :)

I bought a small cake at the commissary. I felt some guilt about not making one, but for one, I did not want a big cake in my house... I don't need that temptation. And two, who has time to make a cake. (Amy, you put me to shame. 3 kids and you are making wedding cakes. I couldn't get myself to make a simple sheet cake!)

Oh she loved it. She grabbed the plate and pulled it right to her. "This is Samantha's cake." :) She did share with me though. :)
